Many winemakers have vineyards in both regions, meaning you can sample the wine from both Quincy and Reuilly in a single sitting.
Quincy is a one grape town, becoming more and more globally reverred for its keen interpretation of dry Sauvignon Blanc.
Reuilly also produces Sauvignon Blanc but in a very different style to that of Quincy, Pouilly or Sancerre. Reuilly also benefits from red wine production from Pinot Noir and rose from Pinot Gris; both of which can be utterly flawless in good winemaking hands.
Discovering these two relatively unknown wine regions will prove to be utterly spellbinding, as you leave asking yourself just why on earth the world has not cottoned onto just how great the wine produced here is.
Travelling from Paris?
Vierzon is the ideal pick-up point for those travelling from Paris.
Trains regularly leave from Paris Austerlitz, Paris Bercy and Paris Montpernasse 1 & 2 stations, arriving directly to Vierzon Ville in an average of 1.5 - 2hrs.
